Daphne Rose

Daphne began teaching Yoga in 2016 after working for a Women’s organization in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver with a dedicated mission to empower Women and end violence against women and children for 3 years and unravelling and reflecting on her own life experience & trauma. Movement, the psyche & wellness have always been at the forefront of her passions and interests. After embarking on her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Christina Raskin (Soul Thrive Yoga/Oxygen Yoga) she began teaching immediately finding that it was something natural to her. Her self practice has always been the foundation for her classes and teachings which continue to evolve as she goes inward and deepens her connection to Self and continuing her self-study through trainings such as Yin Massage (Yogassage), Self-Myofascial Release, 55-hour Yin Yoga Training with Jolene Bayda and the 10-days silent Vipassana Meditation course in 2017 and 2018 with Goenka.She hopes that her own self-study and practice translates as an offering to those who come to her classes. Through her classes you will receive intricate and thoughtful cueing and knowledge of the body to bring it into alignment. Practices are creative, intuitive and gentle yet powerful to allow for transformation, self-inquiry and awareness throughout the practice to remind ourselves of our truest nature.

Originally from Vancouver, Canada Daphne has travelled, lived & shared the practice of Yoga & Meditation internationally for the past 7 years mainly in Australia, Montenegro, UK and Peru. In 2019, she was invited to be the Yoga Teacher for back to back retreats at Mahakala Retreats in Montenegro for 8 months. In this time she began to extend her offerings through Massage and Bodywork as she was gifted private teachings on the Flow Massage technique which is also very informed and guided by her intuition.As she felt to go deeper into her own healing and Self-discovery she began to journey with plant medicine specifically Golden Teacher mushrooms in 2020 opening her up to a deeper self-love and understanding of nature and the world on a spiritual level.Death is one of her greatest teachers especially after the passing over of her mom into Spirit in 2020, which had been the catalyst to journey with the plant medicine Ayahausca which showed her experientially what we may be seeking for through these practices. A deep sense of peace, unconditional fulfillment, knowing of Self, interconnectedness with the universe, love and truth. Everyday is still faced with the challenge to unveil what’s natural (the truth of who we are), but through her offerings she hopes to share this glimpse she has received. During the ceremony she deeply wanted everyone to know this as it’s within everyone.

FLOW MASSAGE

Duration: 90 minutes

A rythmic massage with figure-eights and spirals using oil that focuses on creating space in the body to support and strengthen the flow of the bodies own healing forces. This allows energy to flow through the body loosening and releasing tension, blockages and congested and hardened tissue making it permeable again so cosmic forces can access the body. The internal organs are reached through work on the muscle organism, nervous system, fascia, lymph and blood circulation.This massage is based on the principles of Anthroposophy which is the wisdom of the human being and sees the human spiritually as a whole.

Yin Massage

Duration: 75 minutes

Align and purify the body through the practice of Yin Yoga, holding gentle poses for at least 5 minutes while receiving a massage in each Asana. We will access deep layers of the fascia, releasing any toxins, tension, stuck energy and emotions. This practice will also bring the experience of deep relaxation, while increasing flexibility, mobility, and hydration of the joints especially when practiced often. Session is tailored specifically to your needs.
